Karity Frost Palette Review
Welcome back and happy Tuesday!
It has been a while – or at least it feels like it has been – since we have reviewed a palette and we thought what better way to dive back in than with Karity’s Frost Palette!
We love reviewing palettes – mostly because of the swatching – but also we love to show you guys new and exciting products that you may not know about or may have never heard of.
We were sent this palette courtesy of Karity but we were not asked to write a blog post.
As always, all of our reviews are our own honest opinions.
Also, before you dive in, make sure to come back Thursday for a super exciting – and – personal post!

Review: I have been searching high and low for beautiful, pigmented eyeshadows, in a variety of shades and all in one palette. I am happy to say I have found that palette! I love this palette because of the range of shades and because they all can easily blend with any of my neutral palettes. One thing I have noticed lately while traveling is that most of my palettes don’t have the range of shades that I need or they are are all neutral shades. Most of my ‘neutral’ palettes or palettes in general only have one or two colored shadows and that’s it! I love that when I travel now I can bring this single palette and a neutral palette and I can seriously create any color combo. I also love that it is affordable and compared to their competitors, their price is in line with highly pigmented, high quality shadows.
Pros: These colors are seriously pigmented. The swatches you see below are from one single finger swatch just smoothed out with that same finger. They are very easy to blend and I am obsessed with the shade range that they offer. I have already used multiple colors and each of these shadows are smooth and not-patchy. The colors also stay pretty true to the swatches below once you put them on your lids. I love that each shadow I have tried from this palette has lasted all day long until I am ready to remove it. This palette also comes in ‘matte’, ‘smokey’, and ‘nudes and rudes’ so I would love to try those as well!
Cons: You are limited in the looks you can create without any neutral or base shadows however, when you buy this palette you are fully aware of that. You can mix and max a few of the shadows but I personally prefer a few matte shades so I am able to create a full eye look. This means I would need to bring at least two palettes with me when traveling [this one and a neutral one] but that eliminates me having to search for my single colored shadows and brining 4 or 5 palettes which I have done in the past.
Favorite Colors: They all are so unique but I LOVE ‘Janet’ for an inner corner highlight. It is seriously so pretty. I’m also obsessing over trouble, dorothy, envy, madame, and strungout.
Overall: This was my first palette that I have ever tried from Karity and I am happy to say I will definitely be trying more. I love the color payoff and how truly pigmented the shadows are. They don’t take a lot of effort to apply and like I said the color lasts throughout the day. The shades are pretty and unique and I am so happy to have received this palette to try.
