Hey Sweets!

Happy Tuesday!
Today we will be reviewing the L’Oreal VoxBox I received courtesy of Influenster.
Let me start off by saying I was sent this box complimentary for testing purposes.
All of my reviews are my own honest opinions.
I was not asked to write a full blog review.

With that being said, this review will be a little bit different since we received multiple products.

If you follow me on Snapchat [@misskaralarkin] then you already got a sneak peak a few weeks ago of all the goodies. I wanted to try these products multiple times before giving a review so I could give an honest review.

The Brow Stylist is an all-in-one brow kit designed to shape, define and style brows like a pro.
The Infallible Never Fail Eyeliner is a rich creme formula for smooth application with a smudge-resistant formula that lasts up to 16 hours.
The Voluminous Primer is a lightweight primer that instantly creates a blowout effect, building dramatic volume and length on each lash.
The Voluminous Mascara is a volume building mascara. Uniquely formulated to resist clumping, soften lashes and build lashes to 5x their natural thickness.
The two Colour Riche Eye Shadows did not have a description listed on their packaging.

L’Oreal Paris is a company that sells Makeup, Hair and Skin Care products. They have been around forever and I personally own numerous products from their collections.

Price Point: Their products are sold all over but mostly in drugstores. The prices of the products listed above range from $5 to $14.99. I love that all of their products are affordable.

Review: Overall, my love for L’Oreal products has just grown a little bit stronger. I think my favorite product is the Never Fail Eyeliner. I also love the mascara primer and the mascara. If you caught my all time favorites mascara post then you will know about my love for the Voluminous mascara.

Product – L’Oreal Brow Stylist Prep + Shape Pro Kit: Let me start with a little disclaimer, I have no eyebrows. No seriously, none. Very few people in my life know this little fact and I have about ten hairs on each brow. When I was in 7th grade, I went to a nail salon and got my eyebrows waxed and they never grew back. I tweeze maybe one random hair every seven months so for me to find a brow product that works, in the correct shade and that I love is nearly impossible. For those who follow me, you know I never stray from my Wet N’ Wild kit. It is the only product that works for my brows because it has two shades that I can mix and match. I own high-end products like ABH and I continue to use my $5 kit daily. Now, onto the L’Oreal Brow Kit. The color I was sent is actually very close to one of the colors in the Wet N’ Wild kit so it worked for me. One side of the kit is powder and the other is a waxy texture which doesn’t work for my brows. Let me repeat, for my 10-hair-eyebrows it doesn’t work but the powder does. The tool that comes with the kit is very small but the brush applied the powder evenly. I liked that it had a mini tweezer – not that I need it – but for those who do, that is cool. Overall, I will likely to continue to use the brow powder in the kit since I did like how it applied to my brows.

Product – L’Oreal Infallible Never Fail Mechanical Eyeliner: I love this eyeliner. It went on SO smoothly and was very pigmented. I have used it multiple times and it is long wear – they claim 16 hours but I haven’t needed it for that long yet – but it did wear all day without running or smudging. I love the formula especially for a drugstore product. It reminds me of a creamy, gel liner in a pencil form. I will be purchasing this eyeliner once I run out. Very smooth.

Product – L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara Primer/Base: I didn’t think I needed a mascara primer until I tired this product. The description says it adds length to your lashes and honestly, it did. I love how the wand is similar to the original voluminous mascara because it gave my lashes a ton of extra volume and length. The formula is white but dries after a few minutes. The Pro Tip on the package said to apply the primer to one eye at a time then add mascara before it dries [FYI]. It is very lightweight like the description says and I have used this product multiple times with different mascaras and I love the results.

Product – L’Oreal Voluminous Original Volume Building Mascara: You already know I love the Carbon Black mascara for when I apply my falsies, this mascara is equally as great. The Carbon black feels a smidge darker – if that makes sense – but both products give incredible volume and length. They are easily becoming my favorite drugstore mascara.

Product – L’Oreal Colour Riche Eye Shadows: I was excited to get a matte shadow and a shadow with some shimmer. The Paris Beach shadow is a good shadow for right under the brow. It is a very pretty and very pigmented nude shadow. I liked that it applied smoothly and was not chalky. The Pain Au Chocolat shadow looked – to me – like more of a darker purple shimmery shadow than maybe a brown. It also went on smooth but had a different texture due to the shimmer. It was a bit more sheer than I wanted it to be and was more like a light lilac shimmer. I tried the shadow with my Fix Plus spray – which normally makes my shadows extremely pigmented – but it actually didn’t make much of a difference which was sad. Overall, the shadows are colors that I would use. I will more than likely use them with my different palettes.

Pros: I absolutely love that all of their products are affordable. Even though they are drugstore, they all have amazing pigmentation and rich formulas. I can see myself continuing to use all of these products with all kinds of different looks. They are great products for day or night time wear.

Cons: I really don’t have too many negatives. Like I said with my brows, it is almost impossible for me to find products that work. The only other con was I wish the shimmer shadow was a little less sheer. Again, there wasn’t too much that I didn’t like.

Favorite Product: L’Oreal Infallible Never Fail Mechanical Eyeliner

Overall: I love L’Oreal products and I was so happy to receive their voxbox. I would easily give their mascaras, primer, and eyeliners A+’s. I would give their shadows B+’s and their Brow kit a B because well my brows are a pain but I think the product would be great for others.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed this review.
